Not bad, not bad.
But to tell the truth I prefer the coast in the summer, it's always alittle cooler

 kyrenia summer
SP,
I have been to Kyrenia once, as part of GC's entitlement to cross the border.
Where in Kyrenia can you go swimming? what are the beaches around that area? i only went to the 'limani' and the castle, it did not seem like the sort of waters people go swimming in.
I went in the middle of summer and i did not see one person at the beach (obviously i did not know where the good spots were)
Since you live in Kyrenia it would be great to see some photos if you have any of your top spots.

Quite right Pitsilia,
No beaches in Kyrenia, but some people do go swimming around the "back" of the castle in the harbour. Yuch!!
I prefer a small beach, not too commercial, near to Catalkoy (Ayios Epiktitos). It consists of a really nice small bay with what used to be a small restaurant/beach bar on the hill overlooking the bay.
When was the last time you were in Kyrenia?? It seems that if you wre part of a special group, that this was probably a few years ago.
Any beaches where you live now?

Do you venture off to Famagusta at all? What is the activity like there?

Famagusta is fanatastic, it has clean sandy beach's that go on forever, many water sports, the salamis ruins with a collosium still standing and if you go snorkeling you can see the city under the water(well bits of it at least ) i would say that is one of the nicest area's in the north and its where i like to be most of the time.
