Or the movement exists? I dont know, im not there to feel whats going on. I hear from time to time from my family and nobody cares except my dad.

If Cyprus joins Greece then there will be just a one Greek country in the EU, so I don't see how you can say every Greek country blah blah...as far as importance, nothing will change, just 700,000 people more....and further more these extra 700,000 will not add anymore seats with in the EU, but staying separate, we get an extra seat in the EU...think about it...

I reckon you missed the point why Cyprus joined the EU...

The EU eventually will be a political union and Cyprus will have the protection she needs under the EU and not under Greece...

I am amazed at the amount of people that want to betray their own country just to be a subordinate of another country...some people will never learn from the past...

Hey Charalambos let me remind you that Greece was in FAVOUR of the Annan plan and to this very day...could this have been sellout number 2?

Whats better for us is to stay independant and far away from Greece as possible...they are bloody dangerous...but as always you have options...MOVE TO GREECE and leave Cyprus for the Cypriots...and take your goddamn flags with you...

First of all I LIVE IN THE NETHERLANDS, so i dont need to move anywhere, second of all, every country in the EU only looks for what is better for them selves, they wont go to war just to protect cyprus, cause nobody gives a f??//**, the US is so great and powerfull, it does what ever they want to do without giving a f??//**. And yes i know y cyprus joined the EU.

Some may argue that the fight for ENOSIS before the 1974 invasion and the actions of Greece to make Cyprus part of Greece was what caused the Turkish invasion of 1974. Howver, not all Cypriots wanted ENOSIS. It is a very complex situation that can also be blamed on the Turkey, the US and more so the UK.
