first post for me!

Great to see a forum dedicted to Cypriots all over the world...

We have a small Cypriot community in New Zealand (under 2000 people). There are 3 Greek churches in the city i live in and there are only another 2 nationwide. We have opportunities throughout the year where delegations from the Cyprus diplomatic community provide the community with important news and information about Cyprus today.

It would be great to hear about Cyprus Government / Diplomatic involvement in other countries - How does the Cyprus government help Cypriots abroad in countries other than New Zealand?

Comments from any New Zealand Cypriots would be great too.

I am also based in Wellington NZ, where the majority of Cypriots and Greeks are located in NZ. I agree with your post, our communities are strong and vibrant and I would also like to find out more about the other Greek Cypriots and Cypriot Communities abroad and get some discussion going..

I have a cousin who married and moved there and his two brothers followed him over but are now looking to return but beyond that from what i hear the TC presence is pretty much very limited.
