Hi all,

Does anyone know about a new EU passport?

Does this actually exist or does this refer to passport holders of EU nations?

I have a Cyprus passport, but would like to know if i should be applying for an EU passport...

Any help appreciated.

As you know, Cyprus has been in the EU since 2004. I dont have an answer to your question but I do know that travelling on a Cypriot Passport is just as good and should give you the same benefits travelling around Europe as an EU Passport.

In terms of getting the EU passport from a Cypriot Passport - I am not sure of the process, time and money involved? Would be interesting to find out

thanks for your comments. i will do a search to see what info i come up with. i would be glad to post my finding

When your passport expires the ROC will issue you another usual passport but with EU member written on it and will be valid in all EU states wether to travel or settle.

Hence no need to do anything.
