I tell you what we lived through, the Greek soilders coming into our village and herding us like cattle into a school then taking all the men and shooting them before burying them in a mass grave, my mother was holding me by my hand and my brother in her arms and because she could not walk as fast as the savage EOKA murderer wanted her too he kicked her to the floor and stabbed her, this is what i saw EOKA do and i lost 12 members of my family that day, was it any better for the gc when Turkey came, i would guess it was equally brutal but Maria has a very wrong impression of what happened in Cyprus and most of my responses are in retort to her racist arguements.

no brother it was not equally brutal 7 thousand of Greek Cypriots died by the Turkish army only 300 Turkish Cypriots where killed by EOKA by the way my mum or dad never harmed any turkish Cypriots or are responsible for what EOKA did but you want to blame all Greeks Cypriots. i do not have a wrong impression of what happaned in Cyprus as my family told me they where forced to leave there homes for nothing

They listened to them by opening the borders so we cypriots could go and come freely, Denktash was forced to retire and CTP got to power with Talat and the referandum despite some become refugees for a 3 time voted 'yes', people power is more powerful than anything else.
