It mark the day of the end to the EOKA dreams of the Greeks and Greek Cypriots.

It marked the day of the begining of continious peace for the next 32 years and no more attrocities carried on the Turkish Cypriots by the Greeks and the Greek Cypriots.

It marked a glorious day and an end to all killings on both sides. We should all be thankfull to Turkey and show our appreciation for stopping an evil war of genocide and for being alive today.

It was Greece who invaded Cyprus in the first place in 1963 in agreement with the murdering Priest Makarios and the EOKA. They tried their worse tacticts to genocide us Turkish Cypriots in Cyprus for ENOSIS but failed miserably. Greece again tried it in 1974 with EOKA-B and a whole lot of Greek Officers and men but again failed miserably. Even Makarios is recorded as calling the Greece INVADERS of Cyprus. So don't try to lie your head off, you'll not get away with it.

BTW, Turkey as a guarantee power did have the right to intervene and save us Turkish Cypriots from genocide at the hands of the Greeks and Greek Cypriots. Greece on the other hand also as a guarantee power tried to genocide us Turkish Cypriots and have their ENOSIS. DO you see the difference between Turkey and Greece? When a country (Greece) invades the country it is supposed to defend from foreign agression as a guarantor power then everything necessary must be done to stop the invasion. That is what Turkey did. That is what Turkey dared to do with blessings and that is why I dare to tell you that it was necessary.

War is an ugly thing and it's usually the one/s who lose and pay the prise in the end. The two world wars are a great example of this. The Germans attempted to genocide the Jews in Europe and paid the price and are still paying for it. You Greeks and GC's tried exactly the same thing with us TC's, you tried to genocide us and have paid the price for it and are still paying for it.

Those who don't want to suffer the consequences don't start wars, simple as that rousias.

BTW, you admit that you know the intervention was legal but still carry on calling it "illegal".

I take you know also that you GC's are the only ones who claim the intervention to be "illegal" than, right? Too right.
