Most of the GC dead who were killed by the murdering EOKA were listed as killed in action and were buried in Greek cemeteries in Cyprus and in Greece. Some cases of the "missing" being found buried in Greek cemeteries and listed (lied about" as missing has come to light and has been rpoven to be nothing but Greek lies. Their claims that 1500 GC's are missing is a lie. The numbers of the missing is lot less than 1500. We will know the exact numbers when the "missing" is all accounted for, if that is at all possible.

Eric, another complete and utter bullshit quote from you... can you please backup you claims of there being 'a lot less than 1500 missing'

how many are still missing? can you please return the others? Wink

It wont be possible for our families to put closure on Turkey's sick acts or terrorism at this time.

Read your own Greek Cypriot newspapers and the facts from them and also read the confession of an x-EOKA terrorist himself, maybe you'll get your answers. But the thing is you have read all these already and know all about it, don't you? Wink Wink Wink Wink Wink

BTW, ask the EOKA and your "Government" to tell you where the most of the missing Greek Cypriots are. One GC is taking the GC government to court because they lied to him/her about one of their relatives as being missing "killed by the Turks". As it turns out, he was buried in a Greek cemetery in 1974. I am sure you read this artikle too, have you not?

Hmmm...I see......I am sure your families have "put closure" on the terrorists EOKA "sick acts of terrorism at this time" and are quite happy that those who were murdered by the terrorist EOKA to stay missing.

GC lies don't hold water any more Pitsilia and are beeing brought to light one by one. Even your own people are starting to prove the lies you have been fed by your terrorist "President" and the rest of your so-called leaders.

If you want to find most of your missing ask your "Government" to help and you yourself go round each and everyone of the Greek cemetaries in South Cyprus and try to identify all the unnamed dead that are buried there.
Wink

From the article above

Quote:
In 1999, Greek Cypriots exhumed unmarked graves on the outskirts of the capital Nicosia, discovering the remains of some 108 Greek Cypriot victims of the invasion - including people on the official missing list but never identified in the rush to bury them at the time.

Clearly above it says they were victims of the invasion...

Quote:
Searches have been carried out in Turkish Cypriot northern Cyprus, but the results there have not been publicly disclosed.

How come there were kept secret?

I hope more graves wil be found so the families can have some closure...may they RIP...
