 Are Turkish Cypriots more Turkish or Cypriot?
Small query... that may answer many other questions:
Are TC's more Turkish / Greek / or Cypriot?
How are the relations between Turks and TC's?

As far as I and many others are concerned we are TURKs from Cyprus which makes us TURKISH CYPRIOTS. Just like you are a Greek from Cyprus and thus a Greek Cypriot.
Or are you more Turkish than Greek?

I would say generally very good although there are those who seem to love the enemy instead of their own people. The general term for these people is "traitor" and every nation/country has them exept those countries where the hate for Turks and Muslims are inbread and is passed from parent/church/school to children.

Are TC's more Turkish / Greek / or Cypriot?
Some TC's, particularly the cristian ones, are more Cypriot of 'Greek' than the other Turks and this is a result of embracing the Cypriot culture and assimilation.
Some TC's maintain a very Turkish way of life and also lived in harmony with GC's before 1974.
Many TC's are very genuine and very warm, reasonable, and logical people - They are Turkish in thier lifestyle and beliefs and culture but ARE AGAINST THE CORRUPT TURKISH GOVERNMENT AND MILITARY
Eric, these people are not traitors! They should be looked upon with respect, they show alot of courage!
There are alot of TC's in Cyprus with resent. Some of these are illegal settlors from Turkey. They have been shipped in to ILLEGALLY COLONISE. This does not work in a psuedo state as the people cannot live prosperous and comfortable lives - THERE IS NO ECONOMIC WEALTH IN A PSEUDO STATE.
Many of these reasonable TC's blame the Turkish government for the poor conditions that they live in, THE REST BLAME CYPRUS and the GC's. ..It is a pseudo state that is still illegally occupied, what do you expect?
Turks and TC's againtst the Turkish Goverment and military in Cyprus are to be ADMIRED FOR THEIR COURAGE AND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF THE TRUTH!!
