Is there still a stong EOKA movement in Cyprus, despite the background of Leader of Cyprus, Tassos Papadopoulos?

Yes there is and we are reminded of it each and everyday by Papadopulos and his cronies. A very strong signal was sent last year when the year 2005 was declared the ENOSIS year and those murderes were given medals in full uniform jeered on by the GC's and Greeks.

The fact that the Greek flag is flown on every corner in the GC South Cyprus, singing the Greek national anthem and celebrating the Greek national holodays is more indication that EOKA is still alive and kicking and theirs' and the majority of the GC's dream is still ENOSIS.

Another indication is that the majority of the GC's keep voting for an EOKA member as their leader.

The fact that the mojority of GC's voted NO to the Annan Peace plan is further proof of their intentions.

The fact that polls caried out by the GC's themselves proved that the majority of GC's hate us Turkish Cypriots and do not want to live with us and do not want to share with us is even further proof that they dstill want ENOSIS.

The fact that the GC's refuse to sit and negotiate with us Turkish Cypriots is another indication that their dream for ENOSIS is not over.

EOKA is still alive and kicking as is the majority of GC's dream of ENOSIS.

We have a good reason for celebrating that day. It was the day we were saved by Turkey from certain genocide by the Greek and Greek Cypriot murderers.
