Thats right Purebreed, this is exactly what I have also pointed out . . The TC's often hate the psuedo state and the poor conditions that Turkey has them living under . . They find help and value in the south and yes they do roam the streets in the south and look to do business in the south as that is where the economy is . .

Well, one thing is for sure;

The reason the US, the UK and france wanted cyprus was cause of the strategic location, from cyprus they could attack any country.
So its all about power, its not really the turks, the turks only took their chance, ofcourse its wrong what happend, but that always is in war.
What really was wrong was that the US were allies with turks and supplied them with weapons, the US gives a lot of money for military, to earn it back they have to use them.
It was the US and the UK who would attack cyprus in the first place in cooperation with turky.

Dont forget that russia also was allies with greece, but when they supplied weapons every country started to vote against cyprus.

The UK commandos sabotaged military weapons by paying generals, thats y these days greek cypriots have a G3 in their house.
In this war they shot a plane and found 2 UK pilots, but ofcourse nobody knows.
The second war the UK helped the greek cypriots. But y?
I tell you y, cause they wanted to build a radar station on trodos, (the highest mountain) on cyprus, and an military airfield.
They would pay rent, but still they dont pay anything.
(The white radar is the UK base, its next to the camouflaged one).

Remember greek turks and cypriots used to live together, in the time of makarios the third when 53 % was greek cypriot they wanted to unite to greece, but the US was afraid that greece would get too powerfull, so cause of the NATO, greece couldent help cyprus, thats y these days every cypriot has more chance to go to the greek university in athens.
When US went for bin laden, they just went for war and later asked for help.

Makarios the third was shot by the greek army, cause he was against the army? :S

Y is it that a lot of people know globally what happend in every war, but only think that turks and greek are enemy's, most of them dont even know y.

And indeed a lot of turks were illegal imported to cyprus, but also the turk cypriots are under pressure by turky itself.

Turk cypriots come to the greek side of cyprus to work, cause on their side, there is no work.

America is a free country, yeah right...
Its easy to blame, and to yell out we want our country back, yeah well then all US and UK should be removed so we can fight out our own war.
I dream of 1 good united europe...

I also agree that Turkish Troops should get out of Cyprus and go back to Turkey. You will find there are a mix of opinions amongst members of this forum however finding some common ground is essential to moving forward.
