The Greek Cypriots had the money and the posibility to buy out all the land that was owned by the Turkish Cypriots but they (Greek Cypriots and Greece of course) instead opted out to genocide the Turkish Cypriots and achieve their goal for ENOSIS.

My question is, would it not have been a lot easier and a lot safer for the GC's to buy the lands legally instead of taking a chance in getting Turkey involved and losing 1 third of the island?

Do the Greeks enjoy killing/massacring Turks/Muslims?

EOKA was not about genocide Eric and you know it! It was about groups of people fighting about whether they wanted 'enosis' with Greece or not - some did and some didnt : It wasnt about killing Turks. TC's and GC's lived togother in harmony alot of the time. EOKA was also fighting against GC's as well as TC's.

Eric - EOKA was NOT about Genocide it was about ENOSIS - I'll say it again - NOTH GC's AND TC's died..That is the truth I am not afraid to admit it
